Thanks for the plugin – not sure if this is the right place for this but wanted to ask if there were any plans to add an autoreply function to the plugin – i.e. anyone filling out the contact form receives an automatic reply (ideally with a copy of what they completed in the contact form). i made sure the head () and footer () are in the theme.

Hey Taylor -

Love your plugin, it simplifies greatly the task of creating forms. My suggestion for an addition would be to allow some sort of text or picture insertion into the middle of a form. For example, I may have 3 or 4 questions to ask, but then want to insert a paragraph or picture that sets up the 2nd half of the form.

Any way to incorporate that? Thanks for this plugin!

It is a great plugin. At first, I were confuse, but after few times trial and errors, it works awesome. I do have one question, is it possible to place 3 fields next to each other – in other words, in one line?

Hello, I am curious on how to stop the spam comments. Is there a way I can set up a CAPTCHA or a plugin I could use to stop spam from coming into our inboxes when someone sends us a form? I receive over 6-10 spam messages overnight. Thank you.

This looks like a great plugin. I just added it to one of my WP sites and so far so good. I do have a question though, is it possible to pass the form data to the thank you page? I’d like to echo some of the form data on the thank you page.

I just thought of a plausible cause. In my database, the prefix to all the tables is wp_something_ and then the table name. It was suggested as another little security measure. That wouldn’t be affecting it would it? I double checked and the tables the plugin makes have that prefix as well. Thanks!

Hey,

I just tried to install the plugin and received and error (pasted below). I don’t have the time or tenacity at the moment to really track it down, but I did try deactivating all my other plugins without success.

I’m using WP 3.1.2 (any other info I need to include?)

Any chance you have any older versions I could try just for the heck of it? If you know of an easy fix, or a direction to go in, that would be amazing. I’ll see if I can pursue it later. Actually, I haven’t explored to far, but at the moment it seems to function fine despite the errors.

This plugin sounds much more customizable than CF7. All the features I need are here accept file attachments. Are there any plans to add this feature in the future? One more thing CF7 cannot do is let a site owner send an autoresponder with a file attachment. It only adds user uploaded files as attachments.

After installing and activating the CCF plugin on WP 3.0.4, I noticed that my drop-down menus no longer display. As soon as I disable this plug in, they reappear. Bummer as I need the menus to be functional, and I did like the forms a lot too! Not sure where to look for the conflict, either.

Hi Taylor, I checked out ccf, built a first form (course
registration) and defined the confirmation page (which shows up
after submitting the form) as a goal in Google Analytics. The
confirmation page should contain form data for printing. I don’t
know if ccf is handing over form data to the success page as post
variables. I tried to retrieve post variable values with
Content-Switcher (plugin) – using field slugs as variable names -
but this doesn’t work. Please help. Thanks in advance,

An export feature is currently being developed and will hopefully be included in 4.0.0 which will be released soon. Right now to export you could use phpmyadmin. The plugin creates a few tables of the form: yourprefix_customcontactforms_tablename. Export all the tables of that format and import them to your new sites wordpress database. It’s actually very easy to do if you’re familiar with phpmyadmin.

In the future I respond to questions via email much faster. In your admin panel, there is a form you can fill out within the CCF plugin page.
